Automated Nameplate and ID Tag Laser Engraving System

Our Minilase XL tag and nameplate system is designed to laser mark, etch, or engrave high volume nameplates and information tags of various thickness, shape, and material. The system features a magazine for holding a high count of unmarked nameplates. A pneumatically actuated pick and place suction device moves nameplates from the magazine to the marking stage and then to the part offload chute where nameplates can fall into a bin of your choice for collection. The system operates completely internal to the Minilase XL system in Class I format, keeping the process safe.

Custom Dial Index Laser Marking System for Drill Bits

This two-position dial index system features dual rotary devices for the radial laser marking, engraving, or etching of drill bits. An automated proximity sensor system can be used to detect the size of the bit or to detect the proper starting location radially on a step drill bit. Zetalase™ XLT Large Field Fiber Laser Marking System

The Zetalase XLT large marking field system provides a continuous marking field up to 600mm x 600mm (24” x 24”) while maintaining a small beam diameter with high energy output. This technology excels over traditional XY stage systems that require more complex programming and increases in cycle time, due to indexing movements of the XY stage. Large graphics can be processed in one cycle without any tiling or stitching, and large trays or fixtures of parts can be marked in minimal cycle time.

Zetalase features a high-powered MOPA fiber laser for the ultimate mix of power and flexibility. A large work envelope provides capability for marking a wide array of parts, large or small, light or heavy. Other features include a built-in touch screen monitor with our touch optimized laser interface, power focal height, a built-in focus finder system and a 180° access door. Zetalase is a desktop system with an optional mobile base and includes an integrated PC and Minilase Pro SE laser marking software. Automotive Laser Marking with The Vereo Fiber Laser

This video showcases our Vereo Fiber Laser marking on automotive transmission components. This application required multiple Minilase and Zetalase systems to meet the customer’s marking requirement. The various components were marked with serial numbers, date codes and 2D codes. The 2D codes were scanned using a Cognex Dataman Handheld Scanner.

Radial Laser Marking with Mini Rotary

Laser mark the ID and OD of cylindrical objects using a TYKMA rotary accessory. The rotary featured in this video is micro-sized for our Minilase and Zetalase laser marking systems. This micro rotary features a tilt system to allow the 360° laser marking of the inner diameter, as well as the outer diameter. Additionally the device can be tilted up to a vertical position and used with a fixture as a two position system to allow for a larger marking window in one complete cycle.
